To connect an “F” type connector to RG59 coaxial cable

  • Slip ferule ring over cable.
  • Remove the ½” of outer jacket (Do not cut the braided shield wire.)
  • Fan the shield back and trim. Then remove ¼” white insulated from center conductor.
  • Push conductor on - be certain narrow end is under braided shielding and copper conductor is slightly beyond connector.
  • Crimp the ferule ring using hex tool.
